Customs in Spain FAQs

When I send a parcel to Spain, will customs charges apply?

When sending a parcel to Spain from the UK there will not be any additional charges as both countries reside within the European Union. However there are still restricted and prohibited items that we cannot accept for delivery.

Now, it is important to know that if you fail to pay for the parcel, then it will result in the parcel being held, returned or even destroyed. If we receive any duty or VAT charges billed to their account for these parcels will in turn be billed to you, the sender of the parcel to Spain, with a 10% admin charge added (minimum £10.00 VAT).

Where do you send to in Spain?

Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona... Actually, we can send a parcel to any part of Spain!

What declaration for customs do I make?

When sending a parcel to Spain, if you fail to declare any contents or under declare the value, it may lead to the parcel being refused by Spanish customs. Your parcel to Spain may then be held, returned or even destroyed.

Will unaccompanied baggage cost me?

Not when you are sending a parcel to Spain. In some rare case, packages which are deemed as unaccompanied baggage that are being sent to Australia and New Zealand may incur customs clearance charges of around £150.
